As 2020 has come to an end, let us appreciate how miraculous we are. No one said it is easy to face 2020 but otherwise. Everyone is having lots of struggles throughout this year. Some of us are saddened because we performed to lose our job while others are happy with our new title as fresh graduates. Many dating couples are blissful with their new marital status when the number of daddies and mommies for being a divorcee is significantly increasing due to household issues.

Recalling the moment at the end of 2019 when I place my resolution too high ends up nothing in 2020. It sounds like being ungrateful to say “nothing happens to like my resolution supposed to be” while God is still giving me such a healthy life. Being healthy might seem trivial, yet it is the most all I need amid the pandemic. At that moment, I realized that I have been wrong to push myself towards others’ achievements and ignore the little things I excessively need. Instead of being sad and hopeless, the point is better we embody gratitude to our God for acknowledging his favor. Believe that God is good. He indeed gives the best at the right time. All we need are to do our best and let God do the rest.

Furthermore, don’t forget to keep thriving wherever you are, as well as keep yourself busy nurturing your dream. Honing your skill and expanding your experience. Believe in yourself that one day you will in the place you dream of providing; you keep stepping forward. In case you feel tired during the journey, take a breath and rest. Don’t be too hard on yourself, but rather enjoy the process. As Victor Linao once said, “Diamonds are formed under pressure and bread dough rises when you let it rest. We are all our things”. Hey, everyone has their own pace; focus on yours, not others; you do you!. I whispered to myself.

I am firm and optimistic about my resolution in 2021; even the previous one is not yet complete. Sadly, I can’t tell you details regarding my resolution cause it is a secret between God and me. How about yours? Have you set your resolution?

At the end of the day, I just want to say, “Happy new year! I hope for a prosperous and joyful life for every earthling out there. Stay healthy everyone❤”-els
